Cooma - Heart of the Snowy Mountains
Cooma is a medium sized country town nestled in the hills just over an hour south of Canberra. With beautiful scenery in every direction, an excellent cafe and shopping culture, mountain atmosphere, winter and summer tourism, a vast array of completely different seasons and weather, plenty of good restaurants, and so many options avaliable to those who want to go adventuring, or just laze about at home, its no wonder that so many move to Cooma for the lifestyle and atmosphere. The town itself is very pretty, the CBD built around a magnificant park with huge trees reminiscient of the rural atmosphere of the town.Multiculturalism built the Snowy Mountains and its existence still is one of the strengths of Cooma. Just in the town of Cooma is a large number of restaurants, cafes, and pubs all with different flavours, feelings, and tastes from all around the world. Not to mention the rest of the region with its vineyards, restaurants, historical places to visit, farmland, lakes, and mountains to explore.
